1.) Whether citizens have standing to sue private persons engaged in state action for relief under § 1983 for deprivations of their right to vote for president of the United States, freedom of speech, equal protection, and due process; 2.) Whether citizens’ claims for relief under § 1983, for themselves and others similarly situated against private persons engaged in state action, may properly be classified as a general grievance; and, 3.) Whether deprivation of a right constitutes an injury in fact to confer Article III standing.
